Mozilla provided a breakthrough in the web browsers market by publishing its greatest work, Firefox. This excellent web browser damaged the market of Microsoft’s internet explorer at the time of its release. Again Mozilla makes its new footprint in this field by launching its alpha version of mobile phone browser, Fennec. This web browser is not yet completed for the commercial purpose. Currently it runs in few Nokia mobile but in the future it will be reached to all mobiles. An impact will be occurred to mobile operation system of Windows if Fennec hit the market. However its release date is not yet announced. This could surely create a dent on the market leader Opera Mini Browser which is the top most used browser across the board when it comes to mobile phones.

Except the iPhone owners all the mobile users can have the benefit of Fennec in their mobile phones. Mozilla’s had lot of restrictions over the Apple’s software constraint which may lead Fennec a non-compatible browser to the iPhone users. Apart from that Fennec will take Mozilla to top in the mobile web browser’s list. We can expect a very still battle going on with the mobile web browsers with Mozilla, Opera, Google and even Microsoft eyeing a piece of their huge share.
